This Learning Board visually represents the numbers from one to ten and has 10 coloured counters that can be moved along rails. Two vertical scales show the total number of counters in each column, providing confirmation of the numbers that bond to give 10.
So 5 plus 5 equals 10, as does 1 and 9, 2 and 8, and so on. A flip book visualises the process. This is an excellent resource that provides a kinaesthetic challenge to reinforce this essential concept.
