This learning board is fun to use, combining a game of cleaning the dog’s teeth with some thought for our own oral hygiene. The baseboard shows a friendly dog with floppy ears and a mouth that opens to reveal 10 strong teeth. There is a toy tube of toothpaste, a toothbrush, and some flossing string. Children will want to role-play cleaning the dog’s teeth by squeezing toothpaste onto the brush and scrubbing hard to clean them thoroughly.
 
Then, to make sure they haven’t missed any plaque, they can floss between the gaps in the teeth. Children can do this alone or in pairs, which will initiate conversations about how well they take care of their teeth. Great care and precision are required to clean teeth effectively. The process of cleaning a dog's teeth not only improves their fine motor and observation skills, which are crucial to their overall well-being, but also enhances their oral health.
