Christine is a well-established Aboriginal Artist. M&S Textiles Australia printed some of her works in the past. ‘Women Collecting Water’ is one of her best artworks. Her depiction of waterholes, women sitting with digging sticks, bush foods, flowers, etc., are detailed and decorative.
Water is very precious in the Northern Territory. Aboriginal people know how to get water from underground. They also watch wild birds' movements in some areas to determine the availability of water nearby. However, Alice Springs can experience heavy rainfall in the summer months.
Just after the rain, you can witness an abundance of beautiful flowers blossoming almost everywhere in various colours. The beautiful array of colours is a memorable experience. Christine depicted the natural scenic view very well, with women sitting on the ground with, digging sticks and seeking water all around.

Please allow approximately 3 - 4 weeks for the Sewing of Blanket and Delivery. We understand that quality takes time, and we appreciate your patience as we craft your perfect weighted blanket.
Our Queen bed and king-size blankets are joined down the middle with Velcro. This allows you to separate the two halves for cleaning, as most machines cannot handle more than 5kg at a time.

Occupational Therapists recommend that a weighted blanket be 10% of the user’s body weight. This gives the best calming effect and is safe to use. If you are “in-between” weights or want to give a child room for growth, please choose the next size up.
The more oversized blankets require a heavier weight to give the same calming Deep Pressure Touch effect as the weight is spread over a wider area.
The maximum weight for a blanket is 8 kg. Weighted blankets should NOT be used by someone under the age of 4 without supervision.
